Organizations & Teams
In AnalytAI, your work is organized into Organizations. There are two distinct types of organizations depending on how you use the platform: Personal and Team.
Organizational Tiers
Section titled “Organizational Tiers”👤 Personal Organization (Private)
Section titled “👤 Personal Organization (Private)”Every user is automatically assigned a Personal Organization upon registration (e.g., “Personal”).
- Private Workspace: Your personal organization is for your eyes only.
- No Collaboration: You cannot invite or add team members to a personal organization.
- Standard Projects: Perfect for private database connections or testing file uploads.
- Single Owner: You are the sole owner and member.
👥 Team Organization (Collaborative)
Section titled “👥 Team Organization (Collaborative)”When you need to collaborate on projects with colleagues, you can create a Team Organization.
- Team Setup: Unlike personal workspaces, team organizations are built for multi-user access.
- Member Management: Invite team members, assign roles, and manage permissions.
- Shared Projects: Any project created within a Team Organization can be viewed and interacted with by all members of that team (depending on their role).
- Centralized Admin: Team owners can manage global project settings and relationship approvals.
Managing Members
Section titled “Managing Members”Invitations and member management are only available in Team Organizations.
Roles & Permissions
Section titled “Roles & Permissions”- Owner: Full control over the organization, including name changes, project deletion, and inviting/removing members.
- Admin: Can create projects and manage members, but cannot delete the organization itself.
- Member: Can interact with projects (AI Chat, Dashboards, Automation), but cannot change database connection strings or approve “Cosmic” relationships.
Switching Workspaces
Section titled “Switching Workspaces”You can belong to multiple organizations at once (e.g., your own Personal workspace and several Team workspaces).
- Workspace Selector: Use the profile menu in the top-right corner to toggle between organizations.
- Data Isolation: AnalytAI maintains strict isolation. When you switch workspaces, you only see the projects and data associated with that specific organization.
User-Wise Billing
Remember that while projects are organized into organizations, your Subscription and Credits are linked to your Individual User Account. Your personal plan follows you into every organization you join.
