The AI Chat is the primary interface for interacting with your data in AnalytAI. Instead of writing complex queries, you simply ask questions in plain English.

AnalytAI’s agent system is designed to handle everything from simple lookups to deep analytical research.

  • Simple Queries: “What was our total revenue yesterday?”
  • Complex Analytics: For multi-layered questions like “Analyze our churn rate by region and suggest which customer segment we should focus on,” the system doesn’t just run one query.

Intelligent Reasoning

When faced with a complex task, the agent system de-composes the problem into multiple sub-questions. It retrieves data step-by-step, correlates information across different tables, and builds a comprehensive final answer.

The AI Chat provides a rich, interactive experience by combining three types of responses:

  1. Natural Language Explanations: Every result comes with a clear, human-readable summary of what the data means for your business.
  2. Tabular Data: Precise, filterable tables for when you need to see the raw numbers.
  3. Dynamic Charts: Automatic visualizations (Line, Bar, Pie, or KPI cards) that best represent the insights found.

⚡ Agentic Capabilities

Beyond just answering questions, the agent system is an active participant in your workflow:

  • Proactive Suggestions: The AI might suggest follow-up questions or identify trends you haven’t noticed.
  • Setup Automations: You can ask the agent to set up a recurring task for you. For example, “Every Monday, send me a summary of new signups from the last week.” The agent will configure the necessary Automation in the background.

💡 Tips for Advanced Interaction

  • Chain Your Thoughts: You can follow up on previous answers. If you see a spike in a chart, just ask “Why did that happen?” and the agent will dive deeper.

  • Ask for Predictions: While based on historical data, the AI can help project trends based on existing patterns.
